Heck, I put in 3.89 miles, 10,730 steps by 1:00PM today
Heck, I put in 3.89 miles, 10,730 steps by 1:00PM today. Wow I am starting off pretty strong this week. I hope to keep up the good work. I still need to pay attention to what I eat and when I eat. This morning I had watermelon.(I love watermelon could eat that all day. I also learned that watermelon is a fuller food. meaning it will make you fill fuller longer. On the way to my walk I decided to eat a fiber one protein bar. Hmmm, maybe that is what gave me the energy to walk an extra mile today. when I came home I rewarded myself with a large chocolate fudge bar. No worries it was a weight watchers chocolate fudge bar. I love those things too. Now here is where I faltered I decided to have a BLT...that cost me some points like 7. I try not to use that many points for lunch but oh well, one day at a time. Wonder what I will have for dinner?????
Does a Hula chair workout count?
I have a hula chair and I worked out on it this morning. I used it for 30 minutes while I watched Jerry Springer show. Jerry Springer is such a mindless show you can do lots of things while watching it. Now here is the concern I wear a pedometer and when working out on the chair it counts my hoops as steps. This shows that I have 2542 steps and equates to .92 miles. Hm I like this so I do this each morning before go on my walk. Currently I am doing 2 miles a day and with the Hula chair I total 3 miles. This gives me such a feeling of accomplishment.

Is there a baby in there?
I thought this was cute and worth mentioning:
My granddaughter had two friends over to play. Well the four year old needed help in the bathroom. While I was standing there talking to her she pats my stomach and asked "is there a baby in there"? I could only laugh and say no...i'm too old to have a baby in there what is in there is too much food. She smiled and went on to say maybe you should not eat all the food.

Seems like everything I put in my mouth goes straight to my stomach and stays there.
OK, today I weighed in. I bet the ladies think I have it mixed up. The idea is to loose not gain. Oh well I was up by 1.8. that was no surprise to me it was actually good news. You see sense my last weigh in I went on vacation and spent 2-3 weeks DE. with my sister. I managed to gain 9lbs. That's right, not a typing error, I gained 9lbs.
I went to DE armed with all my goodies prepared to stay on track. I had fiber bread, benefiber, granola cereal, vitamins, prune juice( lol you have to make sure the plumbing is working). You know the intent went with me but I must have left the committment home. The stuff never left my bag now how is that for being prepared? The intent was there but not the total commitment. I watched everything I ate, no really I watched but I ate all the wrong things and knew it when I was doing it. Somehow I could not stop myself seems like I wanted everything I normally don't eat or want. So I worked really hard this week on eating my allotted points amount, tracked everything I ate and walked. I walked daily, I am up to 3 miles. I never thought I would see the day I would walk that distance. Hence I actually lost this week about 5lbs. So I am happy. Today is a good day.
